Chasing Fall at Storm King Art Center

Storm King has been on my New York bucket-list for quite some time. For those who have never heard of it, it’s a 500-acre outdoor museum located in New York’s Hudson Valley. There are large-scale sculptures and art installations at every turn, some that are seamlessly entwined with nature while others are more vibrant and bold.

Gather all your closest friends and your favorite picnic essentials for the adventure here. There’s a ton of room to roam around but pick a nice luscious spot of grass to enjoy your wine and cheese.

It was such a beautiful day, I don’t think I’ve ever truly experienced the fall season like this in my life. The pictures seriously don’t do this place justice, with the leaves changing and falling so gently from the trees.

We spent the entire day at Storm King and missed checking out Dia:Beacon, another notable museum in the area. If you’re headed that way, be sure to allot time to go there too!
